I paint realistic watercolor florals and still life paintings. My paintings are bold, with rich, jewel toned background and strong detailed foreground subjects.
I enjoy painting antique china items, teapots, teacups, unusual vases and figurines that I mix with old cross-stitched linens and cutwork lace. I especially like the delicate china pieces against the textured table linens. Add some flowers from the garden and or fruit from the orchards and you now have a story that begs to be painted!
In all of my work, I try to create a feeling of timelessness. I create pieces that fit in our modern world, while still evoking memories of the past. Paintings that are a pleasure to
view and to own!
